
Dr. Buthina Alobidyeen
Dr. Buthina Ziead Alobidyeen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Tafila Technical University (TTU) in Tafila, Jordan. With extensive academic and professional experience, Dr. Alobidyeen has built a strong academic career, specializing in Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Digitalization.
Dr. Alobidyeen holds a Ph.D. in Human Resources Management and Culture from the University of South Wales (UK), completed in 2019, along with multiple advanced degrees including a master’s in management sciences from Bridgewater State University (USA) and a master’s in public administration from Mut’ah University (Jordan). She is also a certified academic researcher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Research from the University of South Wales.
As an educator, Dr. Alobidyeen has taught numerous undergraduate and postgraduate courses across various institutions, including TTU, Bridgewater State University, and Bialystok University of Technology. Her teaching expertise spans areas such as Human Resources Management, Management Engineering, Project Managemnt, Entrepreneurship, E-Commerce, and Strategic Management. Additionally, she serves as a supervisor for master’s students at TTU and the University of South Wales and is actively involved in the academic community as an external examiner and journal reviewer.
Dr. Alobidyeen is also highly engaged in international academic collaborations. She has served as a Visiting Scholar at Bridgewater State University (2024-2025) and has been awarded numerous scholarships and grants for research and development in various global programs. Her scholarly work has been widely published, with over 127 citations, and her research interests include strategic intelligence, employee performance, corporate social responsibility, and digitalization.
In addition to her academic and research pursuits, Dr. Alobidyeen has contributed to the development of higher education through her leadership roles at TTU, including Director of Media and Communication and Director of International Projects and Relations. Her professional experience extends beyond academia, having worked as a trainer in various global organizations such as the Global Franchise Training Group and TUV Middle East.
Dr. Alobidyeen is recognized for her expertise and dedication, receiving awards such as the Best Paper Award at the 5th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Business & Economic Research (Sydney, 2018), and being named Graduation Speaker at Bridgewater State University. She is an active member of several international professional networks, including the International Journal of Organizational Analysis and the International Business and Administrative Studies Journal.
Dr. Alobidyeen's diverse contributions to academia, leadership, and professional development make her a respected figure in her field, both locally and internationally.
My role is linked to TVET because it contributes directly to the development of skills and competencies that are essential for employment, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning. By supporting Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), I help bridge the gap between education and the labor market. Whether through curriculum development, industry partnerships, student training, or policy implementation, my work ensures that learners gain practical, hands-on experience aligned with current and future workforce needs. This not only enhances individual career opportunities but also strengthens national economic growth and innovation.
