Malatya Provincial Directorate of National Education is a public institution that plans, manages and coordinates education and training activities in Malatya province, affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey. The institution aims to provide students with contemporary, scientific and qualified education opportunities at all levels of education from preschool to high school.

Approximately 155,000 students receive education in Malatya with 483 schools and more than 8,500 teachers. There are different types of schools in the province, including primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, private educational institutions and vocational training centers. Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools, in particular, have a strong infrastructure to provide students with vocational skills and prepare them for the business world. There are 32 vocational high schools in Malatya, and these schools provide education in various fields such as industry, informatics, health, agriculture and service sectors.
