I am Jean Buffenoir who has conducted practical researches in vocational educational training (qualification framework, credit points system for VET, in Europe that triggered the future recommendations for the EU member states. I also managed a R&D VET department in France for the making of occupational profiles, competence and certification standards and curricula. I was a referent point for dissemination the European Quality assurance for VET all over Europe and associated countries. My qualifications include a master’s Degree in international economics from The John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in English and University PhD in economics in France La Sorbonne University. I have 33 years’ experience in TVET Strategy, Public private partnerships, Institutional capacity building, VET quality assurance system, R&D management, Employment policies and Youth employability.
I already participated in Peer learning activities with all the 28 EU members states and neighbour countries (Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Moldavia). I was also Involved in extensive international support to Vietnam, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Uganda, Congo, Mauritius, Djibouti on all wide range of Institutional capacity building, skills development projects and analysis of future skills with digital tools.
