Dr. Cyrill Dirscherl has been working for the last 15 years in support of the European Commission's policy on standardization (DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs / DG GROW) At present, as Active Senior, he focuses on the education about standardization. Primary objective is to convince university lecturers to inform students about the various non-technical impacts of standardization (e.g. economy, competition, entrepreneurship/innovation supported by standardization, sustainability).
