Carla Sabatini is a computer science graduate with more than 10 years of experience in managing European projects mainly focused on innovation and ICT issues, with an interest for adult education. Carla is one of the founding partners and manager of IT company Nkey, a recognised reality in IT and technology sector and in the training one. NKey is engaged in training projects dedicated to all sectors and all age groups, both in the public and in the private world. Since 2010, the staff of Nkey has been acquiring expertise in the management of international projects and established a significant network of international relations and sensitized the local network of public and private institutions on topics related both to young people and adult training. As a volunteer of San Miniato-based non profit organisation Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile, she also works to promote sustainable models of development research activities and participation in civic life. FTS cooperates with social, economic and institutional subjects to promote environmental, social and economic quality in Tuscany through education and long-life learning, in agreement with the European, national and regional regulations.

Moreover, Carla is also the director of field services for Nkey's training, regularly coordinates and manages a team of teachers to organize training courses in collaboration with schools and accredited training agencies in Tuscany. She's been appointed Capacity Building Ambassadors in a group of high visibility selected stakeholders involved in CB4LLP activities accomplished within CB4LLP Thematic Commissions..In 2019 Carla Sabatini has been accredited as “innovation manager” in a public register established by the Chambers of Commerce and the Ministry of Economic Development.

She is currently the President-in-Office of the technological department of CNA Pisa, the National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises, one of the Italian organisations representing the craft enterprises and part of the CNEL (National Council for Economy and Labor). The department, which includes 7 other Tuscan companies as well as Nkey, is responsible for spreading  technological training within the CNA, organising actions and events that involve the world of craftsmanship at provincial, regional and even national level.
