DEKAPLUS was created in 2006. It has been serving the organisational and capacity building needs of small medium enterprises. It now permanently employs 10 trainers and consultants. It also draws external trainer services from a pool of 20 other trainers depending on the courses it runs. Since 2016, it runs its own Vocational Education Centre in Limassol. The Centre focuses primarily on hospitality courses. Its premises though are being used for other across industry training needs and EU project meetings/trainings. Some of the courses offered follow the curriculum that lead to Certification by the National Certification Systems for Levels 4, 5 and 6 of EQF. DEKAPLUS is a member of the Cyprus Association of Vocational Education since 2014. Since 2010, DEKAPLUS has been participating in EU funded projects, primarily in Lifelong Learning (Erasmus+) and COSME. DEKAPLUS has participated in more than 30 projects, taking the role of both the coordinator and the partner. The projects being engaged relate to Vocational Education.
