Felix-Angel Popescu is currently lecturer at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (starting February 2023) and a former assistant professor at the Faculty of Juridical and Administrative Sciences (October 2019 – February 2023), both positions being held at Agora University of Oradea, Romania. He is also the director of International Relations Department – at the same university (starting February 2022), managing all the inter-institutional agreements, EU funded projects and Erasmus programme related arrangements. Starting the year 2020, he is also the president of International Relations Committee, in the Senate of Agora University of Oradea. 

Besides his doctoral thesis published as a book in 2019, he has published a number of over 45 scientific articles starting 2012 towards ongoing period - most of them in scientific journals indexed in several international databases (including WOS indexed articles). He was also a postdoctoral researcher in Economics, at University of Oradea.

He holds a Ph.D. Degree in Economics (awarded in 2017) and a Master Degree in International Business Administration of SMEs (awarded in 2013), alongside a Master Degree (awarded in 2013) and a Bachelor Degree (awarded in 2011) in International Relations and European Studies. Besides his studies done at University of Oradea, he was an Erasmus student for one full academic year at Universita degli Studi di Padova, in Italy (during the academic year 2009-2010). In the professional sector, he has achieved several trainings related to project management and project evaluation, accounting and informatics, and he managed to further share his knowledge by becoming a certified trainer at the National Institute of Administration, from the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration in Bucharest, Romania, where he prepared specialization courses for public and civil servants and as well for heads of public institutions and authorities in different sectors of public management (during March 2018 – 2021).

Besides his teaching and administrative duties at Agora University of Oradea, he is also technical editor of Agora International Journal of Juridical Studies, executive editor of Agora International Journal of Economical Studies, executive editor of Human Education Today for Tomorrow’s World Journal and he holds several membership of the organizing / scientific committees of international conferences (e.g. European Integration, New Challenges conference – held annually in Oradea, Romania, Emerging Markets: Economics and Business – held annually in Oradea, Romania, Eastern European Conference of Management and Economics 2023 – which will be held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, International Conference on Lifelong Education and Leadership for all – held annually in different locations, etc.)

He is currently project manager for the Agora University of Oradea, in the KA203 project entitled: Beyond the limits: developing entrepreneurship via creativity in schools, on-going from December 2020 until October 2023. In the past he has also served as an expert in university ranking methodology, taking part in a wide-national project (2021), entitled: Improving public policies in higher education and enhancing the quality of regulations by updating quality standards (hosted by Romanian Higher Education Accreditation Council – ARACIS).
