I am a retired professor of the University of natural resources and life science Vienna (BOKU) and I was 15 years secretary general of the ISEKI-Food Association, which is focused on education and training in the food sector. I chaired also the team for education and training and coordinated 2 ERASMUS+ projects also focused on improving education and training: https://www.sea-abt.eu/, https://www.food-sta.eu/. Currently I am involved as partner in several H2020 and ERSAMUS+ projects like ASKFOOD, NEXTFOOD. In ASKFOOD we are currently establishing a platform for a community of practice (https://www.askfood-observatory.net/).
