Gëzim Hoxha (1984) obtained their undergraduate and graduate degree in traffic and transport field from University of Pristina. He was awarded  Distinguished Student status in honour of his outstanding studies achievement. He received Doctoral degree from Polytechnic University of Tirana for transport systems and traffic management. Gëzim Hoxha embarked on a career in academia in 2010, starting as teaching assistant at University of Pristina. Then, through his commitment to research and teaching, he have attained the position of Professor at University of Pristina . Professor Hoxha is a distinguished professional in his field with an educational background and extensive experience in teaching, research, and professional practice. He has been engaged between 2009 - 2023 in the position of expert providing expertise mainly in road traffic analysis, road safety, signalization projects, transport planning and in general in sustainable urban mobility planning. He is member of international professional association-EVU and has a sufficient number of international professional training. He has published extensively in the area of road safety, automatic control of traffic and urban mobility. Gëzim Hoxha has been engaged as an expert and supervisor for sustainable urban mobility plans developed for the cities: Gjakova (supported by Helvetas), Podujeva, Gjilan and Gracanica (supported by GIZ), Fushe Kosova, Prizren and Suhareka (supported by UNDP). He currently teaches courses for Bsc and Msc students in the Traffic and Transport Department and is responsible for the Road Traffic Program.
