The Apprenticeship Committee of the Metal Industry was founded 10th of December 1929 and legally set-up under the Vocational Act of 7th of May 1937. The committee is equally represented by the two Danish main organisation:
The Metal Industry in Denmark covers a number of technical educations, touching many of the VET programme in the transport sector.
The technical contents and the implementation of the educations as well as the final examination (journeyman ́s test) are part of tasks, responsibilities and competences of the Committee.
Their mission is to serve professional committees and education committees in their work to determine the academic content, duration, structure and objectives of the various industries and continuing education in the industry.
The aim is to continually be at the forefront of the social needs of qualified employees and develop programs that meet those needs. The stakeholders play an important role in this work. Accordingly, they make an active effort to continuously strengthen our stakeholder relationships and communications.
They are innovative, proactive and challenging in everything they do. It is essential to meet the social needs of new and relevant education.
