Integra was founded in 2007 in A Coruña as an initiative of young people interested in the field of social inclusion and European cooperation. Our final goals are: - To promote the professional and personal growth of individuals; - To develop local, national and european training projects to strengthen 'key competences' – knowledge, skills, and attitudes that may help learners find personal fulfilment and, later in life, find work and take part in society. - Fostering exchanges of good practice and innovation in the field of education and training; - The promotion and development of internationalization processes for schools, enterprises and organizations operating in the VET field; - The economic and social development of the territories involved. Integra’s objectives are to improve the knowledge of the European Union and the instruments that are available to the youngest, thereby promoting greater understanding and social cohesion. We also aim to increase mobility between countries, to promote international cooperation, mutual cultural enrichment and foster volunteering. We see volunteering as an intercultural activity based on solidarity and equality. To achieve these objectives, Integra has worked and continues working through different mobility programs such as Erasmus+, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, Leonardo da Vinci (Mobility and Transfer of Innovation Projects), Grundtvig and other international projects and local development as "Boucher" of the Reggione Calabria (Italy) or the social project "Lernen und Arbeiten in Europe" of the German Federal Republic. In particular, Integra promotes international mobility intended for young people and adults – mainly for apprentices, unemployed persons and union members – in order to help individuals and organizations become more successful in global markets through the acquisition of foreign language proficiency, intercultural awareness, the acquisition of new skills and the improvement of vocational qualifications. Integra cooperates at local, regional and national level with adult education centers and trade unions, schools, enterprises, public entities and diverse partner organizations in the field of education and vocational training. The partnership recognizes the social value of the transnational mobility and guarantees a positive local outcome. Integra collaborates in different trainings and professional activities with The Training and Resources Centre from A Coruña, A Coruña Job Centre, FORGA (Galician regional Labor Union) and more than 200 SMEs and public institutions (several VET Centers) in the City of A Coruña, all these organizations usually collaborate in the following activities / projects: - Developing training vocational and occupational activities. - Organizing seminars and conventions to promote educative activities (face-to-face and on-line activities) -Implementing innovative projects (new technologies, products and business organizing methods) -Development of digital competences. Therefore, we have a strong network of partners with extensive experience implementing successful educational and employment programs at European level. Integra has promoted different training and labour projects. In addition, we have recently promoted and coordinated an Erasmus + KA2 project (Strategic Partnership) linked to Digital Competences. Specifically, we have developed a Process of Revision of the existing Framework for Developing and understanding Digital Competences in Europe and an analysis, adaptation and updating of the required digital competence (DC) for different profiles in Communication and social marketing, Digital Touristic management and Digital Tour Guide. That included a specific Digital Competence Grid and a Self-Assessment grid for all these profiles as the prior step to create useful training materials for teachers in these areas and users/learners in order to be a master in these competences. Also, partnership provided for each competence a description, descriptors, examples of levels, attitudes, skills and examples of applicability in different contexts and different purposes. Other Intellectual outputs of this project were: - the designing of an educational portal, - An e-Learning Training Web Centre to organise and to test the training materials of the two on-line expected Digital Competences courses (one for trainers/teachers and another to learners). These on-line courses were be attended by 48 trainers/teachers and 120 learners. - Creation of a Methodological guide Handbook stating the on-line training courses methodology, content, style, achieved results (Digital Competences improvements and learners outputs) and mode.
