Sylvanus worked for the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (UNICTR) in Arusha, Tanzania from 2010-2015. For over six years, Sylvanus also worked for the UN Peacekeeping Missions in Sierra Leone - United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) and United Nations Integrated Office in Sierra Leone (UNIOSIL) respectively.
He has also been actively involved in social and development work at both national and international levels. Mr. Murray is the founder and president of Advocacy Initiative for Development (AID), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, registered in the State of Washington, U.S.A and Sierra Leone to support development programmes in Africa.
Mr. Murray holds a B.Sc. in Web Design & Multimedia, an MA in Mass Communications, an MA in International Relations & Humanitarian Aid and a long list of UN training certificates.
