PIN is a consortium company with a majority non-profit public participation. It was established as an association in 1992 and on 3^rd June 1999 it became a limited liability consortium company (S.c.r.l.). PIN supports itself financially through contributions, agreements with partners and external bodies, and the implementation of research and training projects. In the elaboration of these conventions, the new University was opened up and opened to dialogue with the Society and the Institutions, which was desired by everyone. In 2003, PIN obtained the ISO 9001 quality certification. With this recognition, PIN is proposed as a subject with advanced knowledge and operational skills, able to organize services for teaching and research at a qualitatively high level.
