Rahat Uddin has completed his Diploma in Engineering Degree in the Department of Electronics Technology from Dhaka Polytechnic Institute. Currently, he is studying a Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Presidency University. Besides his study, he is working at IDEB IoT & Robotics research Lab as a Research fellow. His research area is IoT based Agriculture technology. He developed an IoT tool namely “Matir Pran'' farmers friendly portable soil testing device. This tool is capable of reducing soil testing time for farmers. Using this system farmers can get the proper guidelines to plant their crops. He received many National and International awards such as Champion of the BASIS National ICT Award 2019 & 2020. He got Best Innovation award at International Conference on NRB Engineers- CONE 2019, 1st runner-up award in the International Conference on Robotics and Signal Processing Technic-2019 at AIUB, and Best research paper award in “4th International Conference on Vocational Student’s Innovation Project (ICVSIP-2019)” at Chiang Mai, Thailand. Champion of the Bangladesh Innovation Award 2020 for the best Innovation of the Agricultural sector.
