Actively involved in the science, technology, and innovation (STI) dialogue with policymakers and relevant actors from the industrial and academic sectors on the European scene and beyond. My current interests range from health and environment to innovation policy and foresight (e.g. backcasting). In 2009, I actively contributed to the creation of Knowledge4Innovation (K4I) and its “Forum in the European Parliament” (Brussels). In 2015, I finalised a formal collaboration with Fraunhofer MOEZ (Leipzig), now IMW: the Fraunhofer Centre for International Management and Knowledge Economy, to promote internationalisation processes, particularly in the fields of value creation and sustainable development, with a specific focus on India.
As an independent consultant, I advise less favoured territories to develop suitable innovation strategies and positively impact long-term transformative change. As a leader, I am passionate about helping people reach their full potential and showing them better ways to communicate and interact. This passion translates well into my motivation to sustain the achievement of specific targets of the 2030 Agenda such as SDG 1 - No Poverty, SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being, SDG 5 - Gender Equality, and SDG 13 - Climate Action.
