Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum (SEZ) was founded in March 1990. SEZ is a member of the regional European Enterprise Network (EEN) consortium. The core activities of SEZ are to manage and support international research and innovation projects, to stimulate and support innovation processes in both small and large companies, to coordinate foresight activities as well as the exploitation of research results, and to promote transnational technology transfer. SEZ has vast experience in roadmapping, community building, networking, outreach, communication, dissemination and exploitation activities, organising workshops, EU-wide conferences and brokerage events for technology transfer. SEZ advises policy makers and administrations on regional future scenarios, on innovation and cluster policy issues and support of knowledge exchange at European level. In the past years, SEZ has been involved as partner or coordinator in more than 70 European projects in a variety of high-technology fields including CPS/IoT and Factories-of-the-Future/Industry 4.0 and Smart Anything Everywhere.
